This poll shows that depending on you level of participation in barbecue it can be an expensive endeavor.  I did a poll several years ago (1998) and in that poll I asked about the earnings of barbecue people.  As you can see the earning level of barbecue people was very high at that time and I am sure it is much higher today.

There was a message posted on The BBQ Forum during the time the first poll on this page was running on the forum.

Interesting part about the latest poll: If you take the results as of 2/7 AM, and assume the everyone has the minimum invested in each $$ category (safe bet), it totals almost 3 Million dollars!
Ray- that could be a pretty nice statistic to share with potential advertisers.
