I'm sure the interpretation below is pretty accurate so let me just make a point or two. First it sounds like the labeling people PC crap we see so much of today to cast a negative view on someone if they say they would not compete if you take the prize money out (I voted that I would not). Second, I think most everyone that holds the view that the money is important just wants a chance to get some of their money spent doing the contest back (several has mentioned this) which will only allow them to do more contest. I am also sure that they are every bit as passionate about the sport and the charitible aspect of it as those that said they would still compete. Third, it's kinda like our dollar, dollar, dollar 18 on Saturday, it just makes it more fun that way (I got paid 2 bucks and Fred got the other 3 from Joe and Don so me and Fred is taking money home and Joe and Don is all fired up to come back next Sat to get their money back). Simple. Turk, I said every word sober as a judge and I'm trying real hard to make that the norm.
