Ok lets quit fooling yourselves. Of course its about the money. Money is what draws in the cookers to the big contests. The winners of the big contests are the ones people talk about. Face it, except for the GC and RGC nobody can name who won the contest that had $500 and 12 entrys. Its not news. Just like boxing, if two guys aren't beating themselves up for $ 49 Million, people aren't going to watch.There's nothing to hype.
That being said, yes, I compete at the lower paying contests and will continue to do so. Its also about the points. Its also about the urge to compete regardless of the circumstances. Its also the need to see old friends again.
