I could maybe understand the animosity toward pellet cookers if the teams that used them won every competition or even a majority of them. But they don't. It's probably pretty evenly split between them and the stick-burners. If we really want to get technical about it, if you want to ban pellets then you have to ban charcoal, since it's not wood in its natural state. But then what do I know? I'm just an ol' charcoal and wood chunk cooker. I'm sure most of this has been brought up by others on here, but I wanted to put in my two cents worth.
