I don't think so. You can vote on different computers. You can vote more than once by doing other things but, its not easy and would take a lot of time. Or if you were really smart when it comes to computers you could play other games with the numbers. But, again it would take time and it's not easy. The same opportunity exist for both sides of the vote. All in all it probably balances out.
Now I will tell you that this week has been and exceptional week in traffic on the forum in general. The number of visitors is up about 30% this week, as to what I would expect, for this week and this time of year. This up-tick in traffic only means to me that something unusual has created interest.
As for the number of votes in the poll this week, here are the total votes of each of the polls since this started.

So far on this poll 819 so thats about right for a poll that is generating a lot of interest.
If these numbers are "stuffed" in this poll then someone is stuffing every poll and that is not very likely. They probably have better things to do with their life.
My guess is this is a surprisingly, unexpected, topic that is of a lot of interest to a lot of people and those people have talked about the poll to other people and they have made unexpected visits to the forum . Which has lead to an increase in posts and lurkers.
Monday through Thursday of this week we have been averaging about one page view per second and that is up a bit.
