Great comment. I could care less if pellets are in there. I dont care if they let gas in. I do know that I truly enjoy the art of operating a log fired pit and will continue to do so. I only do a few comps a year no GC's just yet but we do worry some of the big boys from time to time with our old stick burner. Results seem pretty well split at the cook offs I attend. It does almost seem too easy to set the thermostat and post a six year old by the extension cord to make sure no one unplugs the "fire". Personally its not where the fun is for me. Some of my best freins are pellet guys
