I agree with you on propane tanks. They are safe. It's people that are idiots. But the argument put forward by Robbie was that propane tanks are not safe so I just took his logic one step further than cooking with gas.
When I had the Klose I only used the gas assist to light it. After that it ran on 2 logs about every 90 minutes.
And for the record a team mate of mine at the Royal one year put 10 lbs of frozen wings into a large turkey fryer on the Klose burner and flames went up 15 feet and melted a corner of a nearby EZUP. Operator error and we got it turned off quick. Still remember that Denver Cajun running over with that big Fire Extinguisher.
