Sure. And there is a risk of getting in an accident on the way to the contest too. Not to mention the health risks involved in inhaling the smoke while cooking. And some think char on meat causes cancer. And there is always the risk of a lightning strike. When gas cookers blow up, its the OPERATORS fault, not the fault of the cooker. Its up to the owner to keep the cooker in SAFE working conditions. If all gas cookers met a certain safety standard, and were inspected to insure this, then i doubt we would have a rash of exploding cookers.
